California-based Kush Bottles Inc. is adding a distribution partner in Hawaii that will service the Island’s medical marijuana dispensaries.
Through Hawaii’s reciprocity program, Kush Bottles, which provides packaging, supplies, accessories and branding solutions for the cannabis industry, said it will also allow sales to patients with valid medical marijuana cards who are visiting from other states. The company also said it's adding a distribution partner in Puerto Rico that will service the U.S. territory’s medical marijuana market.
“We are pleased to add important new distributors in these emerging medical marijuana markets,” Nick Kovacevich, CEO of Kush Bottles, said in a statement. “Helping cannabis businesses operate responsibly and in accordance with local regulations is a key part of our mission and strategy. These two new partnerships will allow us to offer this enhanced level of service to clients in both Hawaii and Puerto Rico.”
Kovacevich said the company will continue to seek out opportunities for expansion in medical marijuana markets throughout North America and internationally.
